FREE PTC book

November 9th, 2008 by admin

I have been away for a while and left most of the programs I joined as they were mostly shortlived. So I decided to return to PTC’s were my adventure all started some time ago.

I bundled all my experiences on how to make money with these type of sites into one free ebook. This ebook teaches anyone who is planning to use PTC sites to make an extra buck but also those who have been clicking away with little or no succes. The principles in the book do not only apply to PTC sites but to making money online with affiliate based programs in general.

I was paid by Buzzshed.com

Thanks for massively joining my referrallink, you guys made me $29,50 in a couple of days.  I hope you do even better than me.

I was sceptical at first because they paid so much per referral but look at this.

I have been paid by BuzzShed and I want to show you the proof of payment.

It must have been the easiest money I ever made. Just tell people to signup and you earn $1 for the first 5 sign up then 50 cents for the next ten, from then on 25 cents.

Not only that it’s also a very nice site, with some funny commercials:

The return of the “get paid to search” opportunity

February 28th, 2008 by admin

my search funds is a new get paid to search program which hopefully will do better than it’s predecessors, ZotSpot and SlashMySearch. ZotSpot sold it’s business and SMS well that’s in my opinion a complete joke. I’ve always believed there is no money to be made with that businessmodel for the simple reason that the profit margin on reselling ads it to little to go and split that over several downline levels. Plus the searchresults returned or so bad that everyone switches back to Google.

First the advertising company takes it’s chunk of profit then the searchengine company does the same what’s left is then divided over several levels of downline. If the advertising company itself offered a paid-to-surf searchengine it might be possible. So if this one is going to survive I don’t know, I do hope they learned from the others.

The good thing and at the same time uncertain factor in the whole picture is that it’s powered by Ask.com which is a very good searchengine and in some ways better than google.  The uncertain factor is how long will Ask.com sponsor?  They have a history of preying on small upstarts and use their viral marketing to promote their searchengine. Once they have part of the userbase they use that tactic elsewhere.  So I hope this startup is working on their own  searchtechnology and advertising channel so by the time Ask.com parts they have something in place to compensate.

Anyway let’s give them the benefit of the doubt, here is their payplan:

A good thing is it’s an British company so they pay in British Pond which is great for US members as the pound is double in value compared to the dollar. Payment is possible via PayPal (the horror company, yuk) or banktransfer for UK members.

PayPal froze my account

February 27th, 2008 by admin

Can you believe this, after asking for approval of my website to avoid any possible problems with PayPal,  their software I suppose, flagged my account, result two days after providing PayPal as a way to pay on my site they limited my account.

Although I tried to explain them I received an ok from them they still hide behind nameless standard replies and are unwilling to unlock the account until 180 days have passed. The only reason according to me my account got flagged was suddenly increased activity possible from people with a bad track record with PayPal. That alone is enough to get your account frozen and no matter what you say or ask they won’t unlock it.

After looking for more info on the internet I came across hundreds of stories of people who had the same thing happening to them. The more I read the more convinced I am that PayPal is to be avoided at all cost especially for people selling something, the buyers are in general  safe with PayPal.

Please check out :

I now switched to:

  • AlertPay

  • MoneyBookers

  • e-gold

  • Of course we do not know how safe these are but it’s always a good idea to spread your funds over more than one paymentprocessor.

Get paid 30 cent to watch videos and $1 for every referral!

February 22nd, 2008 by admin
Get paid to watch videos!

BuzzShed is all about discovering great videos and making money watching targeted video advertising.

That’s right - as a member you’ll get paid to watch videos! The videos will be about sales or special deals for BuzzShed members, or funny promotional videos that the advertiser hopes you’ll share with your friends. Each video will be matched to your profile, so you can be pretty sure you’ll find each one relevant and interesting.

All you need to do is tell BuzzShed about your hobbies and interests, and they’ll send you a BuzzClip when an advertiser adds a video we think you’ll be interested in. What’s a BuzzClip you ask? Well, it’s an email containing a link to a sponsored video - watch it and we’ll pay you 30 cents. It’s that simple!

and they pay $1 per referral signup….$10 payout…paypal only…

Beta launch of our own PTC site

February 15th, 2008 by admin

Today we launched our own PTC site, currently in Beta but fully functional so you can test and earn at the same time :-)
The site is called Clickyu and the domainname is

http://clickyu.com

Get paid to Click

Alertpay is the paymentprocessor, I wanted to avoid dealing with Paypal because of all the trouble other PTC sites had last month but I may add it in the future who knows.  However it seems Alertpay is experiencing technical problems. So if you are unable to signup with Alertpay don’t worry just signup with Clickyu, type in the emailaddress you want to use for Alertpay and signup to Alertpay next week.

For members

Per click/ad the member receives:

  • 0.75 cent as a free member
  • 0.025 cent for each referral click/view.

As a premium member it’s:

  • 1 cent for each personal click/view
  • 0.5 cent for each referral click/view.

This maybe less than other sites but we want to have a businessmodel that is viable on the long term, therefore we opt for more reasonable rates.

For advertisers

I can add that we have some anti-cheating systems in place:

  1. all users coming through proxyservers are blocked, so no self referrals with fake proxy ip’s.  This alone stops lots of users with bad intentions as they usually hide their identity behind anonymous proxyservers.
  2. captcha image on login but also after each ad expires, so no automated software can be used to cheat on you.
  3. captcha is an image with a simple math test: e.g. 13+9 to add an extra barrier for anti-captcha software.
  4. some extra code to prevent scripts that try to cheat the countdowntimer (by reseting it to zero).
  5. members that do not adhere to the terms will be deleted immediately.
